A Lotti Biscotti

As a special treat for Fairy Helper #2, I am making biscotti today. The FH's started back at school this week, and all was well until last night when FH#2 decided she didn't want to go to school anymore as it's "too long". So after a few tears I asked what I could get her for when she gets off the bus ( thinking quick trip tp Target etc) she repiled "Biscotti Mommy, with a cup of tea to dunk in." How sweet was that?!! So currently baking is some delish lemon biscotti, just for FH#2. I will have the kettle on at 4 o'clock.....

Long time no blog

Dear friends

Not posted anything for a while as have been relaxing at the beach etc. Kids back at school next week so will be gung-ho trying out new recipes. I had a lovely cocktail yesterday - a Blue Shark, made with vodka/triple sec & blue curacao.It was delish and maybe we should incorporate cocktails in the cafe..hmmm....
