New name unveiled!!

After many weeks of brain-draining-new-name finding-misery (!!) I am pleased to announce the new name for the Fairy Cake Cafe! The winning entry was by none other that my top mate FB! She ROCKS!!!
So, drum roll please...........................
The new name is..................
CUPCAKES & TIARAS!!!!
How fab is that!!!!!??????
Love love love it!!
The blog will still be cakes by fairy cake cafe (coz it is too complicated to change it) but we are now Cupcakes & Tiaras. New logo has already been designed, will upload asap.
I will now go by the blog name Betty Berry. No more Cake Fairy.

Little Stars

Had great shopping trip with fairy helpers to Michael's today and succumbed to buying one of these "new-fangled" silicone cake pans. Actually got 6 mini star shaped moulds to bake with so we are going to attempt them tomorrow.Will post piccies asap.

Sponge Cake Yummy!

Here's a pic of the Victoria sponge I made today with the assistance of my youngest Fairy helper Blueberry Muffin. She helped mix the batter and put the jam & buttercream icing in the middle. Needless to say it's going down rather well!
Am making lemon cupcakes tomorrow for a friends birthday surprise, so will post pics asap.
