Had great shopping trip with fairy helpers to Michael's today and succumbed to buying one of these "new-fangled" silicone cake pans. Actually got 6 mini star shaped moulds to bake with so we are going to attempt them tomorrow.Will post piccies asap.

Used them the other day - a bit weird and really should've waited until they had cooled before I turned them out as they were falling to pieces, but delish none the less.
