Very spesh birthday cupcakes!

Tomorrow is FH1's 10th birthday! Cannot believe it! Anyhoo, have baked very spesh blue cupcakes for sleepover tonite. Have added extra 'pizzazz' to her own cake, and we have spesh candles that have coloured flames! HOW FAB IS THAT??!! So there will be a blue flame on that one. Brilliant!

Also made some more cocktails for the Halloween party that is coming up, a "Vamptini" (which is like the Maretini but with grenadine to look like blood at the bottom of the glass) and the green 'Toxic Waste".. both delish and had a bit of a fuzzy head this morning, all in the name of fun....

One year old!

I can't believe I have been blogging for a whole year!!! Many cupcakes have been baked & eaten in the process, and it's been fun. Today I have made brownies, as I feel I need some chocolate therapy!

'Nother Cocktail!!

Here is a pic of a delish new cocktail we are making for my good mate M's surprise 40th birthday tomorrow - it is called a Watermelon Smash but we are calling it a 'Mare-tini" (those in the know will realize the name) . It's made from pureed watermelon, fresh lime juice, triple sec, absolute citron, shaken with ice...v yum and I enjoyed 2 of them in the "research area" of the martinis' developement!!
