Dearest cupcake lovers

Had a great time over the weekend baking yummy delish cakes. Made a trip to Williams Sonoma yesterday and bought their mini Flower Petit Fours tin, wonderful! Made vanilla & lemon ones yesterday, check out the pics.

Today I have baked Viva Vanilla's for my new friend Kez's birthday. If you're wondering why no liners, I used eco-friendly unbleached ones, and they dropped off the cakes when I took them out of the tins! The cake bottoms are a bit crunchy too ( I happen to like that) but I won't be using them for my parties.I love the new cake stand that I found in Michael's last week (only $9 - 2 websites I found it on wanted $13 & $18 for it!!) So I'm hoping she will enjoy them. Trying to think of a way to get a birthday batch to my good mate Fairy Betty....hmm..

In other news, I have my first birthday party to bake for in March!!! V excited & a little bit nervous!

Guess what????? I have an official baking supply contract!! I am going to be supplying a local dance studios' birthday tea parties with my delish cupcakes!!! Woohoo me!!! There will be 4 flavours to choose from (love the names) =
Fairy Cakes - pink vanilla cakes with fairy wings & fairy sprinkles.
Viva Vanilla - pure vanilla cake & vanilla buttercream, with bright or pastel colour frosting.
Choc Full O'Choc - choc cake, choc creamcheese icing, choc chips.
(my personal fave) Lemony Lickets - lemon cake, sugarlemon glaze & lemon buttercream, with a lemon lollipop on the side!!! HOW FAB IS THAT??!!
Made the vanilla & lemon ones yesterday, all gone but let me tell you , DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC FLAVOURS ANY MORE! Get pure lemon oil & pure Madagascar vanilla, they are a bit pricey but the vanillla cakes tasted like icecream, and the lemon is AMAZING!!! Sorry I can't show you any pics, as I said, we ate them all!
So v pleased about that, will keep you informed on orders as and when they come in. And to my top mate Fairy Betty - low fat??NO WAY BABY!!!!!
